Mountain View receives (VFA) Grant

Mountain View Fire Protection District received News today that our application for Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) Grant was accepted. It is a 50/50 match grant . And funds will be used to purchase and update Wild land equipment & gear for Mt. View Fire's Volunteers.

Mt View visited the stanislaus county 911 dispatch center for there weekly training. Firefighters where given a different perspective of our dispatching and all the hard work they do day to day!! Thank You to everyone at the Dispatch center for your help and for a great training.
Mountain View Fire will be having a fire prevention booth at the Annual Chatom Union School District PTC Halloween Carnival. 3pm -8pm bring the kids down for fun , food & games admission is free . At Chatom Elementary School 7221 Clayton Rd.
